According to his twitter it’s Geno, and I usually see it spelled with an e, but I know there’s a photo of his stick where it’s spelled Gino. So I guess it could be either, but I personally always spell it with an E.

Honored Master of Sports for the Russian National Team

Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko signed a decree assigning 15 players to the Russian team that won the world championship in Sweden and Finland, the title of Honored Master of Sports, said All Sport.

Among those who will receive the title - NHL superstar Evgeni Malkin, Pavel Datsyuk, and goalkeepers Konstantin Barulin and Semyon Varlamov, the defenders of Evgeny Biryukov, Denis Denisov, Evgeny Medvedev, Nikita Nikitin and Eugene Ryasensky, forwards Evgeni Kets, Denis Kokarev, Evgeny Kuznetsov Alexander Popov, Alexander Svitov and Sergei Shirokov.

The rest of the world champions goaltender Mikhail Biryukov,  defenders, Dmitri Kalinin, Alexei Emelin, and Ilya Nikulin, forwards Nikolai Zherdev, Nikolai Kulemin, Alexander Ovechkin, Alexander Perezhogin, Alexander Semin and Alexei Tereshchenko are already honored master of sports.
